Energy efficient by design
We will inspect your property and note the orientation of your block. This is to understand how your future home will be affected by the sun, wind and shade. The right design will ensure living areas and an alfresco are light filled, whilst theatre rooms and pantries are in the shade.
Windows can also be placed in particular rooms to capitalise on morning and afternoon sunshine in the winter. Simply add shades to keep the house cooler in the summer.
The wind can also be used to an advantage, with a clothes line placed in an optimum spot for drying clothes, for example.
Eco-friendly features
Key features in the home can also contribute to energy efficiency. Double glazed windows and insulation in the walls and roof will keep the house warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Our quality builds also means your house will be draught proof with no gaps around doors and windows, walls and floors. If you invest in LED lights, your house will also be more energy efficient. Of course, using natural light to your advantage with windows and glass doors means you can use your lighting even less.
